I’ve been an on and off keen amateur photographer for years now and bought my first DSLR camera, a new Canon EOS 400D in April 2007 and haven't looked back since. I've moved onwards and upwards since then and now own a Canon 50D as well, which has helped my improving techniques!

My photography falls into two very distinct areas, which are photo's where I'm capturing those moments with family at events, holidays and days out and keeping a record of them over the years, so I can look back and go , do you remember that..... The second part is where I'm trying to improve my photography as a whole by being creative with what I shoot, pushing my photography skills and generally learning how to use the full potential of my camera. The combination of the two makes some very interesting (and not so interesting) shots, which I share here on my website, on my blog and at Flickr

Aside from that I love technology and keeping up to date with things on a general level and I also love films and try and to go to the cinema as often as possible, with James Bond being a long time favourite. I'm also a big SciFi fan and been a huge fan of Doctor Who since I was very young, but I do like other programmes as my taste is very varied and I'm also a bit of a TV and Film knowledge geek. :)

When I'm not being a geek or playing with my camera's my other favourite pastime is spending time with my family, especially my two boys Henry and George and of course Sarah my better half!

Current Cameras : Canon EOS 50D
Canon EOS 400D

Lenses:

Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM,
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
